I'm not going to revert the bug fix, so suggesting that is pointless. Basic attacks still have an edge over autohits; they don't cost FP, they have a higher potential damage output between bonus momentum and critical hit modifiers being higher than autohit SWP, and they don't have any skill point in...

It's already being adjusted to UL% knockdown chance, I don't plan to make any more adjustments to it at the moment than that, though feel free to continue discussion if you want.

I don't think making the gun 'play itself' is a good idea. I'd rather make the payoff for getting it setup higher.

Autohits also require skill point investment and cost FP, and I've said before that I would like to add an accuracy check to some of them, and/or some kind of weapon durability cost. Readding something that ranged from minimally impactful for some weapons to insanely busted for others is not the way...
