With all deemed respect. It's better and easier to outright remove Conduiz than make more 'Conduiz problems'.

Making it consume 10% of your maximum FP per status effect healed could be a start. And still have nothing against what was proposed in the OP, aside the cooldown. If anything, a 2 round cooldown could be enough just to give a 1 turn window for crowd controls aimed at them.

VA's Voidgate, Ghost's Haunting

Simple and minor suggestion:

Can Ghost's movement skill, 'Haunting', and Void Assassin's second cast of 'Voidgate' get a fade-out and fade-in animation for extra spookiness?

Example of what I mean is Kagekiri, where the character fades out before the torrent of slashes, then fade back in.
