Re: Level Up! (But without any enthusiasm)

As stated earlier in this thread, people are going to surge for the maximum level for various reasons, no matter how you try to slice it. Making the climb to level 60 'longer and better' is a lost cause at this point, due to the sheer number of characters that reached it. We are FAR better off makin...

Re: Mechanics: STR, Battle Weight and Knockdown

STR is great when properly utilized. The one big problem with it is that when STR isn't a focus for a build, it can be dumped and ignored without any issues or consequences whatsoever, which is a major problem for a stat system that's meant to punish the character for dumping any given stat. Knockdo...

Re: [Discussion] On the removal of Stat Traits

Personally I'd want to see how it'd actually look once stat traits were removed. However, stat points are on such a stranglehold that you basically have to pile on as many uses for the stats you pump up as possible. The 'softcap in half the stats is overpowered' mentality you had from very long ago,...

Re: Sayakensa and stuff

Let me clarify the idea I was suggesting: It would have been something like, say, Potential Skill - Dark Demon Arts Can be toggled, but only outside of battle. You gain a damage bonus to all Sword attacks/skills you perform equal to your Dark ATK. However, at the start of the battle, you gain Cursed...

Re: Sayakensa and stuff

I'd rather just give Sayakensa a potential skill. Something like, say, a passive that adds Dark ATK onto your Sword/Katana attacks/skills but hits you with a significant Cursed Wounds that builds up each round and can't be cured.

⋅ Chaser from 140% at final rank to 120%. ⋅ Rising Tide from 160% at final rank to 145%. ⋅ Elemental Rave from 170% at final rank to 155%. I'm gonna have to disagree with this, especially with your assessment of 'they (reaver autohits, sounds plural here) cause knockba...

3 - Twinking is expressly forbidden. The following acts are classified as twinking.: ⋅ A) Transferring any items and/or any amount of Murai to a different character you play. ⋅ A2) Having a proxy transfer items to or from characters played by the same person still violates this ...

Re: Item Suggestion: Unbound Footwear

I think adding class specific skills is a poor way to address the issue of immobilize becoming more accessible -- instead of 'Be a martial artist or you die', the problem just expands to 'Be a martial artist or X or you die'. It seems far more intuitive to add the countermeasure as an item. If it w...

Re: Item Suggestion: Unbound Footwear

Immobilize immunity, straight-out, is far too good to be on an equipment item, especially without any real drawbacks. (-2 DEF is nowhere near an appropriate drawback, especially when you consider that it'll allow super-mobile builds to dance out of damage anyways) I'd be much more for adjusting or i...

PvP and Food Healing

After every battle, if you have recently eaten some food, you regain HP and FP. This is helpful for people trying to go through a dungeon without having to run out and Inn while hoping the dungeon doesn't collapse while they're gone. ....However, this feature has gone a little too far; it now allows...
