Well out of combat the range is 8 compared to 11, which is manageable, its just in combat where people usually just cannot hear you and instead receive the mumbling message.

Yes but you can see how it'd get annoying very fast, I like the trait, but it came with its fair share of issues that could use a bit of tweaking. (like whisper not reaching anyone on release.) I disagree with the comments about fists, not only does MA innately gain hit with fists, but monk gains a large enough crit boost with fists to make them more than viable for basic hitting, and dizzy applying to every instance of damage on a fist attack is just going to get ridiculous with Regenscha...

Casting with bare fists doesn't make a whole lot of sense ICly because to do that you'd need to learn Sorcery afaik, Dev mentioned this a long while back and I don't know if anything he's said has changed all too much, I do know he was interested in making it a system of some sort.
