What about smoke screen, or maybe a new craftable bomb, "Smoke Bomb" that populates the field with smoke at the same range of a Jackhammer?
I support the idea! Just make it a static overlay like rain, but with the fish-going-here-and-there plus the water currents and then Whirlpools will instantly become my favorite dungeon to play in.
