I have to agree here. It's overwhelming due to the fact that it's just SO good. It overshadows every 10 star item that I had my friend wear it as a BK/Arb over friggin heavy armor because it was +HIT. If the issue is stat stacking... Then why not nerf Fugu Katsu, and everything that gives +2 (or +10/12 in case of DK) instead of raising the level cap so more 'builds' are possible. The stat window uses, if memory serves right, the same thing for name + everything else. Making 6 and 8 practically indistinguishable unless you're leaning in REAL close.

Spellthief's issues are tied, directly, to being able to steal spells that require no stats whatsoever. (Malmelo, Death Knighting, Sanctuary, etc...) Spellthieves are pretty awful in terms of balance. If they could only steal offense / defense spells ( I think healing is considered defense? Would it be possible for you to, ever, set up a small 'group' of people to help test stuff on a test server? People like Spoops, Kameron, the mods are all people that are good for this...

Narcus is one of four elemental swords Water, Light, Dark, Fire. Water's effect reduces every damage instance you take by 5-7. Light lets you see stats, but not too many stats because that's OP Dark lets you avoid traps, as if you were under the effects of Flight, but doesn't ignore forced movement ...
