could max rank traps reduce momentum down to 2

traps already eat momentum because most people have a means of teleporting or non standard movement that won't trigger the trap. making you rely on a knockback or pull to trigger the trap

Being able to place 3 traps down in 1 round before using hand trigger? I don't know, I think that'd get very overwhelming fast, especially with something like marked target and entangle trap.

you can't place 3 traps. tf you talkin about.

2 > 3 > 4.

The only way you could place 3 is if you run demon hunter and reset it...

Gust > 2
Fire > 4
Ice > 6
Hand trigger > 7
