Can we get a 'Ping' verb or something that alerts people similar to the way trading does, along with a preference to disable them?

It sucks having to move across the screen in the middle of RP to try and trade someone to get their attention, even more so when they ICly ask you why the hell you just ran up and tried shoving things in their face.

I agree with that.

Just make sure it can't be spammed or abused, pings can get rather annoying when you're really busy doing something else.

So long as I can disable it, I don't see why not.

I already bitch at anyone who uses the pager to contact me since the beep makes me jump and triggers my migranes. But I also focus more heavily on the game than some people.

This would probably just be abused by petty people, so I'm not really feeling it.
