Are basic weapon attacks ((all things that go through hit/crit check and skills that use it such as sidecut)) supposed to be doing...
( Sum of Scaling ) x1.5 + Weapon Power*2
Because right now the SWA on the weapon's stat screen can show say... 66. But if you do a basic attack, it does 72 (or 73).
On lower power weapons, this isn't so much of an issue, however with higher power weapons that are used for basic attacks (think 30 power here) it gets a bit extreme.
Elaborate? What weapon are you testing this with? Anyone else noticing this issue? Any possible other modifiers that you aren't taking into account?
Its because when performing basic attacks it also adds in the weapon power as damage, like how it did in pre-GR, which to my knowledge isn't an issue is it?
I can think of a couple things for this.
Are you considering food buffs like well fed?
Are you remembering to calculate racials?
Ie how vampire stat boost doesnt apply on the character screen but then applies in a battle depending on your essense counter.
Are you possibly running ghost with the +Stat per 10% hp missing? Are you forgetting about that?
I've seen people hit for 400-600(Crits) and 100-150(Non crit)(Both basic attacks.)
There are some people that only take like 40 damage from a 400+ damage attack.
Are you forgetting about materials that add partial slash/blunt/pierce damage?
Can't think of anything else that might be wrong.
No buffs, was DH/ST to make it as simple as could be.
Racials don't apply, I'm a felidae.
No ghost bonuses.
No weapon materials.
The debug was literally just raising the damage by the wpn power again.
I know that they have racials, Sawrock. However I was at 100%, so they did not apply.
It seems like the Power of the weapon was being applied twice as you guessed, which has been corrected.
wait
the game is currently balanced damage vs tank wise against what its been doing right now for ages
think about the implication of fixing this
