This one's entirely for fluff and roleplay, but I think it would be pretty cool if we could type out a customized emote for Further Madness when a character takes the trait. It could allow for more expression and creativity, as some characters could react to the stress of MADNESS in a different way. I'm not sure how difficult this is to implement, but I'm hoping it's simple enough to just add in.

Or at least have the game select the proper Face Icon state.

"Laughs in an unsettling manner..." with a owo face is often immersion breaking af.

I think both would be good.

Someone laughing in an unsettling manner with an OwO face sounds even more unsettling to me. This would be nice though.
