Similar to the 'Next Update' topics you see sometimes, this one is just a poll I'm going to keep open for however long I feel like. You can vote on what you, personally, want to see the most in the game. Poll results do not guarantee anything in particular, but are useful data for me to have.
New clothing options in the mirror? Smile
I would love to see a Spellsword class as a Mage promotion. In fact, I have
plenty of ideas for a versatile mostly-melee combatant that utilizes and
builds upon the Enchant-type spells it inherits from the Mage, with a decent
amount of Blink support, etc.

Could I perhaps suggest making it it's own base class + promotion? Honestly, a more hybrid-y class lacking a major stat before promotion (In this case, Str) really isn't very viable until legend authored due to the pre-20 growths. For example, the base class could have 20% Str/Will but lack vit and either def or cel? Just a thought.
Who said it would be a STR-based class? The entire point of spellswords in every game ever
has been to use the game's classic spellcasting stat and turn it towards non-spellcasting ends.
Would they have a passive to use their Will for melee weapons, then? Just making sure. Because weapon weight is also a thing. Among other things.
Very likely. The idea is that they replace brute force with magickally-augmented
attacks. They'd likely have 0% STR growth and favour light weapons -- and they
would have passives to improve the functionality of Enchant-type spells they get
from having Mage as their base class, and either reduce or completely remove
their drawbacks.
I'd assume a spell/melee hybrid would focus in this order

will=str, >def=skill,vit,

40% str 40% will 25%def 25%skill, 10%vit

edit

look at elderscrolls battlemage

focuses on buffing weapon damage with powerful effects and buffs, with some spells while keeping a high str and armor as opposed to a high regen spell caster in robes.
I disagree, but I'll post what I would specifically want in the suggestions forum in a few days.
Yes, please take such a discussion to a more appropriate topic, if you would.
