It'd be cool if it got carried over from SL1 onto SL2, of course with revisions.

Hey, looks like I was right.
Sadly, I disliked Soul Eaters also, so I'm going to have to say I don't agree with this suggestion. :c
Soul Eater would've been something I would've enjoyed seeing prior to the introduction of a few races and classes, but now, it seems like it would be hard to reimplement without something going,"Oh, that's just a vampire!" or "Oh! That's just a Ghost!" or something else silly. By the time some "Slight" revisions were made, they would probably end up being an entirely new type of class with the name "Soul Eater" slapped on it.
soul eater might be better off as a race with only the highlights of the class itself

Soulgauge
health buffer
beast's hunger
soul banger
and the revive gimmick at 100% soul guage.
Maybe as a Race, yeah. Make it opposite Lich - double HP (after modifications) for health buffer, half FP (after modifications) because busted Soul Container - but not with a ridiculous VIT growth, either. Non-magic skills have FP cost reduced by half. And maybe do something like magic doesn't heal, and potions only do half heal, or vice versa.
