At the very end can we add "Or subtype" because we have things like neverending story, fan tome+fan dagger, whips of various weapon types, instruments of various weapon types.

does the effect not work if you use a normal dagger with a shuriken dagger for example?

It does work, but I'm expanding it to work...or maybe work at half effectiveness if the weapons share a subtype, but not a weapon type.

I wouldn't mind it personally, but keep in mind this applies to more than just the fan dagger/tome combo, it also applies to mutated weaponry that feature subtypes.

Any mutated katana gimmick.

The few mutated staff gimmicks for priest+other class

Destiny archer's rocking MG+Arbalest with mutated nova+regular nova.


That first two don't seem problematic, but that last one could be.

Not really problematic. It's just a +12 bonus to Evade/Critical.
