Mo' newyen for them hi pots
Posted by: Filthyfrankster - 01-24-2017, 06:43 PM - Forum: Suggestions - Replies (5)

Newyen, as we know it. Is one of the hardest medicinal plants to find when it comes to creating items like the prescription hi pots.

There's hardly any guarantee that most spots will even drop one, along with chests too.

So, it'd be kinda nice if you were able to grow it like the other ingredients, like zelegrand leaves and all.

A calm before the sturm (schwarz sturm)
Posted by: Autumn - 01-24-2017, 10:12 AM - Forum: Bug Reports - Replies (1)

You can still gain stacks of Sturm when you have 0 levels in the skill, via Asura fist and proccing Geist Schritt, when you proc sturm levels in this method the meter for it will never go down, despite capping at 4 you can see how this is a problem.

To replicate:

Put 0 levels into Schwarz Sturm
Use Asura fist and hit a target or Proc Geist Schritt against any applicable situation.
Move or do any skill that isn't related to boxer and your sturm levels will never decrease.

Swiftly rising mutant turtles (Turtle Shell)
Posted by: Autumn - 01-24-2017, 08:57 AM - Forum: Balance Fu - Replies (18)

This has been an issue for a little while now, it's just not as a wide known one, mutating a turtle shell makes it unarmored, and when it's unarmored it stacks with Ogata Waraji and Weathered Body.

To put it into perspective":
Fully upgraded Turtle shell: 10% physical resistance from the front and sides, 20% from the back. (as well as a hefty armor value, hitting 23 with carapace+solid)
Ogata Waraji: 10% Damage Resistance when paired with Unarmored
Weathered body: 10% Damage Resistance when Unarmored and wielding a fist or non-shield in your off-hand.

And then to top it off, all of these tools are available to any martial artist:
Weir Konnen: anywhere from 5-15% Flat Physical DEF
Golden Glow: 10% Physical Magical DR
Ice Point Guard: 10 DEF/RES

It's fine if people want to be physically resistant to all hell and back but what's not fine is that Kip-up negates the penalty of this armor by a fairly large margin for most martial artists, thusly it's become a staple for them to acquire in order to snuff out most physical damage builds with little issue.

My only suggested nerf for this armor in specific is that it disables kip-up, that's all, this will prevent martial artists from being the tankiest class in the game and also getting out of Knockdown which is supposed to be the downside of the armor itself.

  Fishing Contest Oddities
Posted by: MegaBlues - 01-23-2017, 10:42 PM - Forum: Bug Reports - Replies (2)

When two people have the same place in a fishing contest, the game will output a new message, putting the person who most recently caught a fish in the higher place.

I'm not sure if this output message actually changes the person's place, but it should be looked into.

Selfish Hotbar, Poor Fleur [Hotbar attacks + Fleur bug]
Posted by: Snake - 01-23-2017, 05:57 PM - Forum: Bug Reports - Replies (1)

Main hand attacks on hotbar makes Fleur unable to grant extra momentum on critical hits. Main hand attacks by selecting and pressing Z works fine.

I'd like to request a review on the Fleur code and the Hotbar interactions for it.

  Earthbound Revengeance
Posted by: Autumn - 01-23-2017, 01:23 PM - Forum: Balance Fu - Replies (3)

Earthbound Vengeance, like Enma's Summons, has a lack of damage with the new HP gains from GR, could we possibly see it's damage upped to 10*rank or 75% of your Dark ATK at max rank? I feel as if that would help it keep up with the other hexer invocations for skill points.

Requesting debug messages for looking for traps, unlocking chests/doors, and disarming traps both on chests and on the ground.

  Death by SUCC [Ingrain bug]
Posted by: Snake - 01-23-2017, 02:24 AM - Forum: Bug Reports - Replies (1)

Ingrain's life drain can't kill people who have Die Hard on, as Die Hard will proc immediately after the killing blow like some sort of Last Chance.

Narrating the image for more clarity:
-I did 132 Darkness damage. Enemy was left with 14 HP.
-Ingrain drained 30 HP. Enemy got 'killed'. But Die Hard resurrected them on the same turn.

Assuming this is a bug because if it wasn't, Life Drain (Vampire/Lich) wouldn't kill people either, as it actually does bypass Last Chance and Die Hard properly. And I suggest Die Hard only proccing one turn after you get killed, to prevent such interactions.

For reference, this was a 1v1.

  My own flanking partner
Posted by: Kameron8 - 01-23-2017, 02:23 AM - Forum: Bug Reports - Replies (1)

Quote:1.73
- Flanking bonus is now halved if no other allies are within in melee range.
- Flanking bonus is also halved if not attacking the enemy from the location directly behind them. (This stacks with the above and vice versa.)

Flanking bonus is currently not being reduced when there's no allies adjacent to the target. You gain 100% of your guile when striking from behind the target in hit, regardless of position or ally count. To test this, simply check hit on something's face, then again on their ass. The presence of Chivalry's talent tree likely made this harder to detect.

  I WILLfully Agree
Posted by: catabur - 01-23-2017, 12:26 AM - Forum: Suggestions - Replies (57)

1/4th of WILL added to all elemental attacks.

It'd give Mages a reason to actually have higher WIL. I was told this was suggested before, but I ain't got a clue on what the outcome was.
