I can't find a consistency to it, but basically, sometimes you'll be unable to summon one of your contracts because that slot has been reoccupied by a contract you already have summoned. (Summon Storm is the best method for reproducing this.) Also, when unsummoning, you get names of Youkai that aren't yours. (Belonging to someone else entirely, and it's not like it's people from the same battle/dungeon. I couldn't even tell you if they have to be people who are online or not.) Re: Summoner Hell - Rendar - 08-04-2017 The general arguement I have seen a lot of (with why summoners are so stupidly good) is that "THEY TAKE FOREVER TO GRIND. SO SUMMONS HAVE TO BE SUPER STRONG" which is a piss poor arguement overall. Making the grind easier will allow for the class to be cut back a bit on it's huge end-game potential. Implementing B and/or C would do well towards this. Once the grind's taken care of, I feel, we can get a proper discussion on balancing Summoner going. First, let's make it so summons are actually accessible so different setups are easier to test, and also so people are less likely to go "I was grinding my ass off for hours just to get my youkai to not suck, don't take this from me!" Then we can discuss changes to bring them more in line.
