I'm pretty sure the intended use of gravedigger is not to resurrect yourself with youkai cheese strats.
Just make it not count yourself as an ally, getting a free revive is huge if you're faster than your opponent.

I didn't really intend for it to be reviving yourself, no, so it only takes effect (as in, the whole effect) now if you yourself aren't incapacitated.
