RE: Flash Step Punch (Shukuichi/Geldoran) - Autumn - 03-12-2021 Here's an idea for Geldoren, a lot of the complaints about martial artists is that they lack good gap closers, Shukuchi + geldoren even if its restored wouldn't be that great of a gap closer, due to its 4m cost rather than 3. Here's an idea, why not change the base range of Geldoren to appease both of these problems at once, if Geldoren was just at base a 5 range attack instead of a 1 range attack, this would be a huge shift for basic attacking martial artists. Then you could change the Shukuchi effect to something else such as increasing the range or Knockback from Urazawa. You could even have Geldoren be a 'sliding' attack similar to Rolling Shot or Parting Shot, where it would trigger tile effects, making it inferior to hanging but still serving the same purpose. RE: Flash Step Punch (Shukuichi/Geldoran) - Maksimum_Fire - 03-13-2021 +1. I'm surprised this hasn't gotten traction yet. Basic attacks are fun. Basic attack skills, provided they're usable? Even more fun. That's kinda why certain classes shine in popularity. Giving Geldo old shukuchi range, or even just range in general, wouldn't cause much harm to the meta but would make for cool combo moments more often. RE: Flash Step Punch (Shukuichi/Geldoran) - Perdition - 03-13-2021 Not having to crutch so heavily on Bonder for basic attack MA would be nice. RE: Flash Step Punch (Shukuichi/Geldoran) - Snake - 03-15-2021 The major crime of this thread is how no one calls it Shukuchi as it should be called... +1 to this anyway, as always and as I have said before. That was probably not intentional, since the goal was to nerf the movement gained and skill point economy. |
