Already took that into consideration. Even with absolute death the damage, the damage would be lower than if you had just normally attacked if you don't crit and if you do crit, it's slightly higher damage but it costs more FP.
It doesn't make their damage and there's the chance that you wind up doing less damage than normal so there's a good amount of risk involved.
So I don't see anything wrong with it in terms of balance.
