Re: Lore Questions: May (2017) - Galethvia - 06-16-2017 Another question about reapers, yaaaaaaay! Since they seem to care little about the physical remains of the dead, would they be opposed to cannibalism? Re: Lore Questions: May (2017) - Nanovelich - 06-20-2017 While Zeran and Reapers supposedly tend to be mistaken for one another by other races, would the two be able to immediately tell the difference between one another at first glance in light of the aura of 'superiority' that differs between the two of them? Re: Lore Questions: May (2017) - Neus - 06-23-2017 "Snake" Wrote:1- Why is Ki Awoken's aura red colored, if Ki is seen as blue or golden most of the time? Is that blood mixed with Ki? 1) Ki can be seen as any color under the right circumstances. 2) Yes. "GSM" Wrote:Dragon Ball Z Questions, Part 2 1) Depends on the complexity of the attack. Probably not very difficult. 2) Average people would probably have to train for many years or start at a young age. 3) Yes. 4) Yes. 5) It's not explicitly impossible. Body of Isesip isn't really a shield, either, it's augmenting your own body with Ki to make it together, so it's similar to Ki Awoken in that sense. 6) It's another method of offensive ki usage, doesn't really require much explanation. 7) It really depends on what you mean by sense. Are you going to find someone underwater like Goku by sensing their ki? Probably not. In a reasonable proximity, maybe (something like 50 feet wide, maybe 75 feet if you're focusing on a specific direction). 8) Not very initially but the longer it goes on, it gets very painful, and those less skilled in using it might pass out from the pain. After it ends it's pretty painful for everybody. 9) Sufficiently. 10) Like 120? I don't know. 11) This has been asked before, and I believe the answer was yes. The same thing applies to most physical afflictions such as paralysis, but not Void Poisoning. 12) Maybe a little. 13) Reapers are pretty varied in terms of lifespan but it's not uncommon for them to live up to 250-300 years if they spend most of their life in Lazarus. When they venture into the outside world that number drops by around 50 years. "Sarah54321" Wrote:Is a demon capable of getting back the soul of someone? Even if they were taken by a God? As far as I know, something like a demon isn't known to exist in Sigrogana at the moment. "Sephentoud" Wrote:The material used to make a Mechanation, would it effect the abilities it has? Such as a Mechanation made using Galdric is faster, due to it being made of lighter materials. But the main question is, if a Mechanation is made of Etherium, would they, in an RP sense, be able to regenerate like a weapon would? Mechanations are complex machines and so they aren't made out of any one metal, but a variety, and the metals/etc. used in them are so processed that any benefits they normally have don't function as well. Ether in particular can be very difficult to process because it's brittle, and isn't suited for complex components. "Ahalaniel" Wrote:Are extraplanar creatures inhabiting BDPs restricted to that BDP? If so, why can I bash them over the head, take them prisoner, and drag them out to Sigrogana without issue? 1) Typically they don't wander from the BDP, perhaps because they can't find their way out. 2) In rare cases Youkai can exist without a summoner, but usually it doesn't last long. 3) There are various cords connected to the container that run down the back, similar to the spine. 4) No, keeping in mind the only planes that anyone is aware of are the Void (which they use for portals anyway) and whatever the summoning houses qualify, which is a mystery to everyone. 5) Not much. 6) Something else. "Sephentoud" Wrote:I know the question on ages for each race has been answered, but there are some that were left out of the last time. 1) Hyattrs have the same lifespan range as Wyverntouched. 2) No, it would be whatever the race of the child ends up being. "Cat15" Wrote:1) Do the gods have servants, excluding their mortal worshipers, beyond Mercala's Shine Knights? 1) Not really, no. Shine Knights aren't really servants, they're more manifestations of Mercalan's power. 4) The latter. "Grandpa" Wrote:What exactly is Brain Food? I've had a few theories of it being jello, kraboid claws, something with fish bones, etc. Never sure what it was though. Of course, it's probably only very loosely IC anyway, but I've always been curious. 1) Food for your brain. "Kavoir" Wrote:How are books produced? I mean how are their contents copied? Are tomes made in a different manner? Scribes, Monks, Enchantment magic, Magic pens, some type of Chataran Steam based printing press? I assume mass production but that might just be a game play abstraction, along with how easy it is to make the books themselves. 1) Magic or some kind of printing press. "Sawrock" Wrote:What do zerans think of pineapple on pizza? It varies from person to person. "Snake" Wrote:- Can Kaelensian get naturally blind due to age, or will the Golden Eyes still affect such way to lose sight? Probably not. "Firestarter1234" Wrote:Serious question- what's prostitution like in each of the major cities, as in, the law's stance on it? Illegal. Re: Lore Questions: May (2017) - Neus - 06-23-2017 "Shujin" Wrote:We have the Class Demon Hunter and the Skill Demon Translation. Also a mention after finding the grimore in the Darkmanor questline for Cattective, I belive. 1) Maybe. 2) Some people would probably consider Zera and Zerans to be demon-like. 3) Who knows. 4) Who knows. 5) Answered above. 6) It would probably depend on the Reaper. They would likely feel as if the Dullahan was something they need to free but it wouldn't be very high on the priority list compared to other lost souls. 6B) It'd probably be considered an attack on another person and therefore a violent crime. 7) No, not really. 8) Not anything special beyond the normal training. "Spoops" Wrote:Are a shaitan's memories completely and utterly destroyed? And/Or do fragments still remain even subconsciously, beyond any hope of recall? 1) Very fragmented. They may have flashes of memories from time to time. 2) For a long, long time. I wouldn't say it's public knowledge either, common people probably have no idea what a 'lich' is. "Snake" Wrote:And one last question, sorry for not cramping them together in one single post. 1) It means you ran for your life and dropped some money and items in the panic. "Spoops" Wrote:I'm putting this in a seperate post for the sake of organization 1) Yes. 2) Yes. 3) As much as any other non-human race. "Sarah54321" Wrote:What is the culture like, aside from wearing bones and such? Reapers I mean. 1) Bit too vague. 2/3) Boat rides. It takes a while, because ships don't really run there. "Ardratz" Wrote:What is the average age expectancy of a Reaper, if they have any at all? 1) Already answered. 2) They might sometimes. 3) Maybe sometimes. 4) Darkside. 5) It's an underground town that's carved into the cavern walls just outside of Lazarus. 6) No. "MakeshiftWalrus" Wrote:-With the apparent lack of ambition within Reaper society, how likely would they be to seek position of powers in the real world? I'd like a definitive answer on this, because a great many of us are frightened at the possibility of extreme lore-breaking. Myself included. 1) There's no definitive answer because characters can have different personalities and motivations. I wouldn't say it's very likely, though. 2) See above. 3) No. 4) Yes. Lazarus is a real world place too. 5) Mushrooms and underground monsters make nice meals. 6) It would be very strange but it wouldn't warrant any drastic action like that. 7) If anyone, including reapers, try to venture very far into Lazarus, they will get lost and die there. Re: Lore Questions: May (2017) - Neus - 06-23-2017 "Snake" Wrote:- What is the Empire's view on Reapers? Respect, Fear or lack of acknowledging like they do to Shaitans? 1) Nothing especially out of the ordinary. "Lonestar" Wrote:Is it possible for a Reaper to regenerate their horns, if broken? Akin to Zerans. 1) Yes, and in a similar time frame. "Sarah54321" Wrote:Why can Reapers not be infested by Pale Lauders, exactly? 1) They can be, though? "Stenzio" Wrote:With the inclusion of reapers might as well ask: 1) A myth, probably. "Snake" Wrote:And the last question. What's the color of a Reaper's blood? 1) Red. "Sarah54321" Wrote:LAST LAST Question. 1) The same thing that happens when everyone else does. "Soapy" Wrote:Are werewolves a thing? 1) Yes. "catabur" Wrote:What's the uniform of the nation's armies? 1) Little too vague, not really sure what you mean. 2) Same. "Stenzio" Wrote:In the Reapers city, does the sun still rise and fall like it would anywhere else; or is it sort of in a weird 'limbo' where it is always dusk? 1) It's underground. "Blissey" Wrote:How do Reapers feel about Mercalans? If they do not know of Mercala or Mercalans, and they learned of them, how would they view them considering their own racial propensities and lore? How do they feel about Mercala or would feel about Mercala based on the prior question(s)? 1) I don't think Reapers would have any special contention or admiration for Mercala. 2) Same. "Galethvia" Wrote:Another question about reapers, yaaaaaaay! 1) Yes, they tend to respect the departed. "Nanovelich" Wrote:While Zeran and Reapers supposedly tend to be mistaken for one another by other races, would the two be able to immediately tell the difference between one another at first glance in light of the aura of 'superiority' that differs between the two of them? 1) I'm sure there would be some obvious differences that they could pick up on, in most cases, yes. |
