Burn The Skies - Rendar - 03-31-2025
Skyburn's effect is neat! Super neat, even!
Unfortunately, it's been abused to hell and back in the past with certain 0m skills that end Airborne status. Magic Gunners/Redtails on an Airshaft automatically 'end' their airborne status by pressing these 0m buttons, dealing the 10 damage to everyone around, and then instantly regain it.
While funny, it's less funny whenever someone decides to use this in a serious pvp match, and just Death By 1000 Cuts you because you dared to enter within 4 tiles of them and they packed an aerialite.
As such, could this very abusable mechanic just.. be patched? There are a few methods for this.
A ) When you are on an Airshaft, all abilities becomes Airborne Compatible.
B ) Skyburn's effect triggers a maximum of 3 times per round.
C ) Magic Shells / Redtail Dice become Airborne Compatible.

I mostly feel like 0m skills should just become airborne compatible here, that would not be a bad change, infact it'd be welcome for MG/DH to have generally.

I agree, making the change happen to 0m skills without nerfing the skyburn sounds good, it'd suck for it to have 30 damage a round only even if you have the combos to get airborne

Pretty much where I stand on the matter! Most folks would enjoy 0m skills being airborne compatible.
