Mad Chop and Evasion - Trexmaster - 06-18-2015

Mad Chop seems to proc Evasion, despite requiring hit checks to deal damage in the first place.

This isn't intentional, right?

Re: Mad Chop and Evasion - Neus - 06-18-2015

It's intentional so far as it's not a bug. Whether or not Mad Chop should be adjusted now that Evasion exists is a different topic.

Re: Mad Chop and Evasion - Trexmaster - 06-18-2015

Oh, okay.

Yeah I definitely think Mad Chop should be adjusted then. It shouldn't be having to make -two- hit checks.

But I'm not sure what can be done other than just making Evasion not work with it, somehow.

Either drop Evasion's check on it or make it an Autohit again. To be perfectly honest, there's enough going around to where evaders can combat Mad Chop's damage if need be, if not have enough DEF to survive a few rounds of the skill or outright negate it.

Re: Mad Chop and Evasion - Neus - 06-18-2015

It is possible for me to make it so Evasion does not proc for specific skills, yes.

Re: Mad Chop and Evasion - Trexmaster - 07-01-2015

Oh, right.

Yeah I think that might be a good idea. Mad chop feels like it should be an exception, like as I said, it already requires a hit check to do anything whatsoever in the first place.

"In-Progress Patch Notes" Wrote:Mad Chop's damage can no longer trigger Evasion (but still requires its hit checks).

Now it's not as redundant.
