Non-Iron Ore Customization Parts - Sawrock - 11-21-2014 Carapace: +1 Power, +1 Weight Rockdirt: +2 Hit, +1 Weight Artic Gold: +2 Critical, -2 Hit Galdric Ore: +2 Hit, -1 Weight Magmic: +1 Power, -2 Critical Etherium: +3 FP, -3 Durability Orichialum: -1 Power, +4 Power vs. higher level enemies Coral: +2 Crit, -1 Power Customization parts should have minor changes to weapon stats, based off of the ore they're used from. Here are my ideas for such. I couldn't think of a good negative effect for Coral, also, so if anyone could think of one, I'd appreciate it. Re: Non-Iron Ore Customization Parts - Rendar - 11-21-2014 I'll give my small suggestion list here Carapace: +2 Pwr, +3 Weight Rockdirt: +1 Pwr, +1 Hit, +1 Crit, +1 Weight Arctic: +2 Crit, -2 Hit Galdric: +2 Hit, -2 Weight Magmic: +1 Pwr, -2 crit, +1 weight Etherium: +2 FP, -10 Dura, -3 Weight < To put it in line with Etherium Armor > Orichalum: -1 Pwr, +2 Weight, +1 Power vs Higher Level Enemies, Max of +5 Coral: +1 Pwr, +1 crit. Re: Non-Iron Ore Customization Parts - Sawrock - 11-21-2014 Eh, two power is better than two critical. I was re-thinking my list a bit, actually, and thought maybe something like this would work... Carapace: +2 Weight Rockdirt: +2 Hit Artic Gold: +2 Critical Galdric Ore: -2 Weight Magmic: +1 Power Etherium: +3 FP, -1 Durability Orichialum: -1 Power, +10 Hit vs. higher level enemies Coral: Gains YA-HA! Also, orichialum with +power is overpowered with guns if you're level 59, so I changed it to +hit. Re: Non-Iron Ore Customization Parts - Neus - 11-21-2014 Weapons already get benefits from being made of a certain material, I don't think that also needs to extend to weapon parts. Re: Non-Iron Ore Customization Parts - Maikito - 11-21-2014 Well I'd like for it to do -something- to the weapon, since it's made of a different material and takes more effort. Perhaps it could cause some sort of cosmetic effect on the weapon if all the attachments are of the same material? Or on the character? If not that, then there's little reason to make customization parts out of anything but iron save for maybe exp. OR better yet. of all the materials of the weapon are the same alloy as the weapon itself, maybe that would grant it a statisical bonus? A very slight one? The amount of effort and materials it would take to put into it would maybe perhaps balance it out then? If not that, maybe when they're all a certain material, it would change the color of the weapon's name in battle? Re: Non-Iron Ore Customization Parts - LadyLightning - 11-22-2014 I'd think that perhaps a weapon which has all of its part slots filled with custom parts made of the same material should have its material bonus changed to that material. Example: 1.) Get a Rockdirt Wo Dao 2.) Install a blade, guard and hilt, all made of coral. 3.) Rockdirt Wo Dao becomes Coral Wo Dao instead. 4.) Remove the coral razor blade. 5.) Wo Dao becomes Rockdirt again. It makes no sense for an entire weapon's worth of parts to be replaced, but its material doesn't change. This could also be a way to make more dungeon drops useful, as you could simply replace the material type with custom parts. Re: Non-Iron Ore Customization Parts - Neus - 11-22-2014 The only reason you can use any ore to craft custom parts is for convenience. This isn't going to change. Sorry. |
