Isespian and Slyphid Youkai Spells + Desert Wind - Kameron8 - 01-03-2016
Earth and Wind domain spells you gain from Youkai do not seem to gain the damage bonus from Desert Wind. To test, I hit a target with several Will + half youkai Level spells and they did the same damage.

I'm pretty sure they are only considered 'spells' for certain effects. Like silence.

Oh awesome, I must have missed that. That patch came around right about the same time I started playing.
