There is a staircase in front of me, but it won't show up. I know this because when move towards the tile, I exit the dungeon.

Is it possible that this (and your other bug reports) are all rsc issues? Have you tried clearing your cache and seeing if that helps?

Confirming that it could very well possibly be a client-sided issue:
When I was a new player, I was stumped at the Jammer Caverns since the chest with the chainshot was not appearing. Ninjahz had to explain it to me, and I cleared my game files, redownloaded resources, and boom, it loaded. During this time, everyone else saw the chest just fine. I've actually had the invisible chest happen once or twice since.
Trust me, Dev's not just being dismissive. Firsthand experience: It's worth trying.

What I ended up doing was going to a different dungeon and seeing if it was happening there.
It wasn't, so I just stayed out of that weird one, and the problems never showed up again.

Assuming it was just a one-off bug since no one else seems to be reporting the issue.
