[Query] Jump Cancel + Gradient Blur - Joseph Jostar - 07-18-2016

In the Demon Hunter skillset, Jump Cancel is described as 'resetting Repeat Action tracking' (which is a little vague in and of itself). For the Demon Hunter stances, this resets the M-cost increase for repeating them but doesn't reset the 1M refund Gradient Blur gives them for the 'first use in a round'. Is this intentional? If so, it would be nice if it was a little more clear.

You mean the 1M refund for switching Stances? I'd have a hard time believing it was unintentional.

Jump Cancel makes no mention of Gradient Blur leaving me to believe it was meant to be this way.

It all comes down to the vagueness of 'repeat action tracking' for the most part. Gradient Blur mentions a refund for the 'first use in a round', and it's not clear whether 'repeat action tracking' would include that or only reset the M costs by design.

[That is 'repeat action tracking' the phrase can easily be looked at as 'whether an action is repeated or not', and if it's NOT being repeated, it would be the first time, etc.]

This is intentional, yes. Repeat action is the increasing Momentum cost caused by using the same skill more than once in a round. Gradient Blur isn't a part of that.
