Gorgons will not proc Sheath Sword or riposte after they attack with Run Down.
Or rather, Gorgons will always move away from you before making the hit check, thusly they're not in range for those 2 skills usually.

Gorgons, whenever they "RUN DOWN" on you, move up to you, bounce off of you, then do their hit check.
