Emptied description pages will keep their old text instead of becoming empty.

I think Dev addressed this, and made it so that you can erase the text in a description page, and the page itself by filling it with 1 space.

That isn't the same as actually clearing the page, which is why some people have a couple blank pages in their appearance tab/etc.

It will 'skip' the page if it's just a single space, but I can understand this mostly for the history tab and ooc tab not generally being filled with many pages of information, and thus will not skip that page, and can behind this.

What's the issue, since it skips pages that are only a space? What would fix it?

Right, after testing, the people with blank pages that aren't skipped must be using multiple spaces.
Still, it'd be nice if setting it to a space actually cleared the page, showing "There is no text set" etc.
