Could you allow the player who is the one whom captured the monsters brought into battle be the one whom controls them? It's annoying to have to do both that AND utilize my own youkai as party leader, because 90% of players DON'T like to be leader.

No. The leader always commands any and all Mercs/Converted Monsters.
