The Disappearance of the Speech Bubble (v2.13b) - Fern - 11-26-2019
If you perform a "full relog" mid-battle (as in you close the game and reconnect in a fight) you will lose the ability to display the speech bubble that pops up when you're typing in emote. This currently can only be fixed by relogging again, but out of battle.

It also works in reverse, if you relog while the speech bubble is on then it will indefinitely stay on until you relog.
