Can we get the ability to place the various campsite items in player houses? It doesn't matter if they are functional or not. I just want a nice bonfire for the outside world spaces that are made in player houses.

Can only agree with this. The sprite already exists, there's no real reason why it couldn't be a piece of furniture. It -can- be made without a furniture item, but it requires 20 or so item mounts and a lot of patience.

Mostly on board with this for the campfire itself. Would love to be able to have a campfire like the one in the campfire kit as part as some outdoor map, but can't place those things in a house. So either being able to do that or having it as furniture - fine by me!

Maybe the reason is due to the regenerative aura and map-wide fire crackling. Even if those two features were removed for the sake of having a good (maybe permanent, or furniture) campfire would be a great addition, yes.
