Staves as Casting Tools - Perdition - 08-06-2020
So, this would require changing God Rod to something else, but I think that Staves should inherently be casting tools. Staves are an iconic mage weapon and it's odd that they do not interact with spells whatsoever outside of God Rod. In the case of Overgrown Staff, it actually boosts the nature of your spells... but that's absolutely useless unless you use a tome alongside it.

This would also require Reapers to lose their unique trait, so they'd need an entirely new racial "specialty". Personally, dislike the idea just as it is. Just use a tome, is my input. There's also nowhere near enough staves in the game for this to be.. Relevant so to speak.
