God Rod Inconsistency - Ranylyn - 02-13-2015 God Rod seems to only apply to some Curate/Priest spells and not all of them. Tested on the following character: Explanation of the below (Battles in Jammer Cave) Battle 1: - Lumia Heals with Graft - Lumia attacks with Rank 1 Kel - Lumia attacks with Rank 1 Holy Spark (2 Jammers hit) Battle 2: - Lumia attacks with Rank 1 Holy Arrow - Lumia Attacks with Rank 5 Divine Shower (2 Jammers Hit) Rank 1 Graft: Will +2 Rank 1 Kel: Will + 6 Rank 1 Holy Arrow: Will + 2 Rank 1 Holy Spark: Will + 3 Rank 5 Divine Shower: Will + 18 Verdict: God Rod only applies to select spells. It does not apply to Holy Arrow or Divine Shower, and possibly others. Requesting someone who has the other spells to test with Shine Ray and Gentle Torrent, as Lumia lacks the SP for them yet. Brightray Plate + Kel still beating Holy Arrow by that Margin is a major red flag. Re: God Rod Inconsistency - Neus - 02-13-2015 The issue with Divine Shower is that it wasn't getting its rank based bonus damage; this has been corrected. Holy Arrow requires more testing. Re: God Rod Inconsistency - Ranylyn - 02-13-2015 There is definitely an issue with God Rod and Divine Shower. I tested it on a character with a Kigal and 25 faith, and with the Kigal vs Staff, the damage difference was 20-ish, despite how the staff should have been doing more rather than less. Granted, that was before the crash, and when I logged back in later, Shine Knights were fixed (How they had no growths I mean) so maybe that was fixed in that same time as well. I simply wanted to test more before reporting it.
