Ski Resort to Dex Flex - Sawrock - 03-13-2021 Like in Fire Emblem Three Houses, rename skill to dexterity so skills and skill don’t get mixed up. Also rename defense as toughness. RE: Ski Resort to Dex Flex - Perdition - 03-14-2021 As it is now, things are clearly defined for defense, resistance, magic armor, and armor imo. A while back some things mistakenly said defense when they meant armor but there was an update that went through and corrected those inconsistencies. The main point of contention when it comes to these defensive stats are terms like "unresistable" or "protection ignoring" which are very vague in which defenses they ignore. That's my take anyway. If it was simpler I'd agree, but do we really want Dev spending the next two or three weeks combing the whole code to change SKI/Skill to DEX/Dexterity then risk any future skill implementations to comically come as "This dexterity causes the opponent to be inflicted with X and Y." or "Reaver Stance, Offensive Dexterity, switch to a more aggressive stance [...]"? |
