Sloth Ideas - Sawrock - 05-06-2021 Have Magic Have A Chance To Do More Battle field Effects But It Needs To Pass A Field Resistance Stat That Is Given By Resistance And Luck And Opposed By The Caster’s Status Infliction . This New Field Resistance Would Decrease As Enemy HP Went Down By The Percentage Of HP Lost Thus Preventing Cinders From Being Spammed Round 1 But Also The Battle Would Get More Crazy As The Fights Went On . This Can Be Connected To The Lore As Luck Is A Known Force In Redtails So Why Not Have The Flow Of Magic Be Disrupted By Other’s Innate Magical Resistance And Their Luck ? To Clarify Current Battlefield Effects Should Remain Unchanged This Should Only Apply To New Effects Created To Add Variety To Autohits Arsenal And An Enjoyable And Certainly Not Frustrating New Mechanic . I read the first like 10 words and I dont hate the idea of a trait that makes spells cost more but makes them spawn field effects on hit or something, most of the mage spells are EXPENSIVE AS FUCK so it would be tangible drawback. It was meant as a joke from another thread when I said “hell yeah I’m a sloth” and changed my picture to a sloth. The idea here is poorly thought out as it would only buff mage spells with the drawback being the buff wouldn’t have a chance to work based off of math that would depend on party size and it’s really just a giant mess. Your idea is certainly better as it could actually function well, especially when compared to mine. |
