From what I’ve heard, black pearls and chimeric eyes do no spawn in Kcorvara. This means I, Sawrock, can’t currently access Ring of Thorns+. There are several solutions.
1. As suggested by Tanasinn, have the clam enemies drop black pearls. As suggested by Sawrock, have chimeric eyes drop from PVP’d chimera-race PCs.
2. Have a check be processed on login. If the user’s key is Sawrock, apply Ring of Thorns+ to their selected character’s inventory.
3. Have everyone have Ring of Thorns be permanently placed in their first accessory slot.
I’m partial to all three at once.

I would also like to point out, we have NPCs that explicitly talk about Magic Stones, which can only be made with black pearls.
Despite them not currently obtainable in Korvara.
Chest-dropped chimeric eyes are probably the bugged type that don't work, as well.
