Youkai Bonus Stats? - renowner - 08-19-2022
Youkai Bonus stats cap at +20 like the global cap used to be. The bonus stat cap was since removed for player characters, so i'm not sure if this is intended or simply an oversight. It generally only really matters for Youkai like Byakko and Snow crow, who can give themselves +14 strength and Defense respectively with their skills. But does make those youkai effectively not want to really use their buff skills on themselves.

Still a thing as of 2.73d, still unsure if this is intended behavior or not.

This was also applying to monsters and Engineer bots, mercs, etc. I removed it for the sake of consistency in 2.74.
You better hope there's not some monster out there that gets a really fat stat buff that was balanced by this.

The only one I could potentially think of, would be snow giant. The variant with the ominous spell that giga boosts stats.
(And that wouldn't really be an issue when fighting them generally, and more of a mercenary monster buff. . . )
