Bandz a Make Her Dance [Core Table] - MegaBlues - 03-26-2015

Can we have the minimum rarity for Massive Cores be increased enough to dis-include bands? (5 stars minimum)

It's kind of silly to get two or three bands from Cores on a consistent basis.

EDIT: To clarify, this would mean only raising the minimum rarity by one.

Why are bands even a 4-star item? I feel like they should have their star count reduced to 2~3.

This isn't going to get you more 9*s. Generated rarities roll from the top down, so all it's going to do is shift your hate onto 5* items instead.

The difference is most 5* items are actually useful if the RNG drops them with favorable qualities. (See: Void Walkers, Blue Iron Shield.)

Bands and rings always suck.

Should the drop rate for the rarest items be increased to make them more common? Probably not. Currently, the drop rate is 1-(0.11*(rarity-1))%. For Rarity 9 items, that's 0.12% to drop each time, and with Massive Cores, that's 7 chances. Maybe when I decide how special I want 10* items to be and we get some, we could make the drop chance a little higher, but right now 9* items are as rare as they get and making them less rare just... because doesn't feel right.
