Back attacks, but toggleable.
#1
With some enemy and map types being the way they are, Back attacking can often be more of a detriment than intended; Leading to an awkward aggro-grabbing dance to try and lure the AI into facing you before engaging. There being next to no distance to say a firespitter or three wings of fire is far more damaging than whatever damage most players will put out in the round they have free.

Proposal : Toggleable back attacks for the player. They get to decide whether or not they proc back attacks on enemies. Alternatively, a trait that functions as a sort of anti sneak, making enemies far more prone to spotting you in a BDP.

This should be tied to the Restored Chivalry trait. As long as you don't have Crude Chivalry, yes yes.

IMO you don't really need to be honorable to decide you're not surprise attacking someone. Besides, sometimes you can be a pretty cocky person that would rather take them head on (RPly speaking) amongst several other kinds of reasons characters could have. I don't think toggling back-attacks needs getting tied to a trait or some kind of intense IC reasoning, though, specially when they tend to be detrimental for the player more often than not at higher levels.

So, having a toggle for them would be very quality of life, yes! Could put it in the Preferences menu.

Oh yeah definitely, that was mainly if the 'trait' route was the way to go. I'd prefer a Preferences toggle too, if possible.
