Could it be possible for brighter darkness to not apply to vampires who are possessed? I think this was suggested by Dev a long time ago but it never really went through.

I agree with removing the reduction from Brighter Darkness when they count as possessed. The race that's naturally weak to Holy shouldn't be more resilient to Holy when they use spirits.

On the contrary. Someone who's familiar with a given threat and built up a tolerance won't lose that tolerance just because they have a spirit along for the ride.

If I recall correctly, becoming Possessed overrides your race, so to speak.

Of course, I'm probably wrong on this, so I'll just say that Possessed should be knocking out Brighter Darkness to begin with.

100 damage holy vs level 55 charm with brighter darkness.
100 *1.25= 125 *.45= 56.25 before defense and armor

no brighter darkness
100 *1.5=150 * .45= 67.5 before defense and armor

no brighter+ talent bonus
100*1.75= 175 *.45 = 78.75 before defense and armor

Brighter Darkness should only work for those counted as only vampires. If it's counting for Vampire (Possessed), then it really shouldn't be.
