3. Notice that you just summoned the guardian spirit of the previous astrology sign

Not a bug. You have to release the old one to get a new one. This is intentional to avoid the tedium of an LE or reset causing you to lose all your progress to a guardian spirit.

For now, it is what it is. Probably a bug, not really gamebreaking, Guardian Spirit may change in the future to support it without doing this.
