Stolen goods are not all that common in Korvara, but the things in Air's shop could easily be new things you can craft by yourself.

I have a good bit of stolen goods since the meiaquaran sewers DO drop them. But some items in air's shop would certainly be extremely useful. Gumshoes and Alga plumes and the magnifying lens mostly.
