This is the reason I don't play much at all anymore. I guess the feeling was universal.

I've been playing for about three years now give or take. I completely skipped G6, and played hours upon hours of SL1 because it was that addicting, Korvara while still somewhat addicting isn't anywhere near the previous incarnation imo. This game was very unfriendly mechanic wise to me as a new player and still insanely is now even with the experience that I've earned, but this game is friendly as in players here are always willing to help. Someone will help you if you ask hard enough and willing to put in the effort to learn the game. Unlike SL1, SL2 doesn't have a one-player option. What made SL1 fun to me was being able to play by myself by doing the quests until I was guided to level 20. Then if I choose to, I could go to the firepit and RP or battle on the map. Here however in SL2 Korvara I can't exactly do that as a new player without "social connections" and party members or mercenary, also nothing is linear to guide a new player. This makes Korvara weak to new players and get lost to log out. There are times when no one will help new players which will turn them off to playing. In SL1 I could literally find every cooking ingredient to pass the time in game and craft foods you can't do that here. Good builds are hard to make on your own which makes PVP impossible and you're losing to the same top tier class that everyone socially found. New players don't stand a chance. There are lots of issues and it would take days to explain and that is time that I do not have right now. One solution is to add a one player experience like a linear side quest that would take you around korvara and level you up to a certain level, or even level 60. It would add more replayability at least for now, I only log in to check the vale for RP and if it's not there I leave.
