Cinders ad Nauseum (Current Live)
#1
The latest in a long line of cinder abuse is to use Relent Gale/Astral Belt to proc the cinders without splitting the damage, leading to a one-turn kill possibility when combined with CM Sear. I won't go into WHY cinder and frostbite has been constantly nerfed not to do this, everyone already knows.

Basically, if you use either of them ON THEIR OWN, they split the cinder damage properly. But if you use Astral Belt to pull them into the auto knockback of Relent Gale, then they will take double damage from each tile as if they walked over them twice at the same time. Consistent even if they are not knocked down at the same time.
Gale or Belt on its own:

64 per tile traveled

Walking:

194 per tile traveled

Point blank belt into gale knockback

388 per tile traveled.

Extremely consistent across all testing.

Is it obscure? Yes. Is it being abused? Yes. Is it broken? Yes.

Just for fun showing it being done consistently back to back rounds.

Hook a brudda up, chief. From that test, is the 194 damage the base cinder damage? (Assuming the Prinny got up, and walked back to you, and also assuming your Fire ATK is close to 200 thanks to VA's Elemental ATK steroid and other general Fire ATK stacking methods)

(why did you have to stack so much damage on that to show a simple bug, ffs)

This doesn't have such stringent activation requirements, it's just that Relent Gale's knockback damage multiplier was incorrect.

This has been corrected.
