Exgulfa is ignoring guard [2.54b]

So these were all with seven momentum guard, and thus should have had 70% dr. As you can see the exgulfa's ignored the dr, while the other invokes and spells did not.

Cant tell if thats intended since nowhere in the spell description does it state that it ignores protections

Reading through the debug it looks like reduc_multi isn't showing up for Exgalfa at all, so it's actually seeming to ignore all but fire resistance.

^Exgalfa, the only thing that reduced the damage at all was elem_reduc.

Now compared to Enma's for example...

We see that the damage gets reduced by both reduc_multi and armor, as it was actually increased by elem_reduc due to a weakness.

reduc_multi seems to encompass phys/mag res and presumably Guard DR and Exgalfa does not have that present in its debug damage logs, so it's safe to say based on this that Exgalfa currently ignores Magic DR and Guard. (and magic armor for that matter)

This is evidently because of the no_reduc flag Exgalfa has and has had for awhile apparently, while the skill itself makes no mention of ignoring Mag DR + armor, so it's safe to assume that this flag is unintentional.

A lot of skills have no mentions of stuff. Probably because dev is busy. Though I dont exclude it being unintentional I guess. But if it was intentional, the only change needed would be 'Damage from this spell ignores protections' or something. In same vein as bellringer damage rings

I personally see no reason exgulfa and only exgulfa should ignore, but even if it is intended it should be documented. I took this as a bug and made a bug report not a balance fu post, because I remember in the past being able to guard an exgulfa.

As a Fervent Exgalfa user, and someone who was like "Man I am swole." and now feel like a "Blatant Bug Abuser."

Something is definitely not right here, and I'd rather Dev either fix this, or state that this is the intent. Until then this should be and has been documented rightfully as a bug.

I would also like to state that vydel does not ignore protection in the same manner as Exgalfa is currently doing. As such I am of the mind that this is most definitely unintended, as I can't imagine Overload is ignoring damage reduction either.

As far as we know so far, Exgalfa is not intended to be ignoring DRs, so since something is clearly not right here, it'll probably be addressed I believe.
