I don't generally comment on these things but one thing I think is important to note is that any changes to the grind need to be thought about in how they're going to affect new players as well who aren't familiar with the systems.

I came in less than six months ago and I can say that the grind was difficult for someone who wasn't familiar with this game or byond games and I absolutely couldn't do it in a few hours or a few days but over a rather long period of time.

Any way to make it longer, more difficult, or more frustrating is going to hit people who don't know how things work twice as hard.
