Firstly, running off without first allowing the opposing party a reaction is considered godmodding here. It's not a guard only thing either, it's a common courtesy you owe to everyone.

Secondly, you are not to use the Town Map feature to escape RP. This is especially silly because the game shows a pop-up telling you as much when you first use it:



Thirdly, the guard here was clearly indicating that they were going to arrest you, arguing that the situation was over is straight up not gonna fly.
