Stamina Autofishing

With the absence of the holiest and most important event from G6; the fishing contest, there isn't too much reason to fish especially since you need to do a QTE and then cast your rod out again with after failure or success.

I propose either through a special crafted fishing tool rod or trait to allow your character to fish while being able to roleplay the most philosophical conundrums with someone nearby (potentially other fishers).

To combat the potential abuse of legions of afk fishing, I think the rate should be much slower and eat up your stamina per fished up creature.

Please support casual/hardcore fishing RP

Given we have emotes speeding up star graph drawing, what could be done is making the non-QTE fishing really slow, but made faster through emoting (still costing stamina) to incentivize RP fishing sessions with friends.

I mean this is basically how fishing in SL1 worked (except it was broken up by the occasional getting jumped by an ocean monster) but I think just having a Stamina Cost and making it slower is a good enough trade-off.

So I agree, give us the patient fishing rod...

Yeah definitely. The qte breaking up rp is kinda sad. Would ne nice to easily be able to toggle netween super slow afk fishing and QTE mode. I think all it needs to be good is just requiring you to recast each catch. Thus it prevents people from going afk for 6 hours at the pond
