You think someone with max sentimentality is willy nilly giving up their weapon? Isnt the point that you ride or die with that weapon? You would rather die than use anything else? Or did i missinterpret the description?

Everyone uses sentimentality for +2 to all weapon attributes and to have it break less often.

They aren't using it as a Ride Or Die. Hell. Some characters who RP their main weapon as some shitty broken sword. Just throw it to the side and pull out a new one.

I think this could be fun if you make it at a cost still, say you fuck up the durability of the weapon or something when you do it (essentially a no going back that fight but you still keep sentimentality and such) This would also let as he said. people with broken weapons and such mid fight not get shafted still.

Could also make it do a basic attack and proc desperado strike if you wanted to be silly.
