There's a couple good items, namely Holy Word and Kanabo. Most of it has bonuses so niche or small they aren't worth using, but that's nothing unusual for SL2.

I do think shinobi is a little disappointing because it lacks sauce. If the elemental arts were actually good it would be a lot better but as it stands it's just a mage class with a bit of utility. It just doesn't have the sauce it needs, even if the skills are fairly solid in themselves. It's like the class is missing one more passive that makes it strong. Like, "when you use an elemental spell, the damage of the next elemental spell you cast of a different element increases by 15%" or "You can use shuriken as casting tools and they gain damage and give any spell +1 range" or "After casting a spell your next shuriken or fist attack gains a bonus instance of 100% ele damage" or "make a free shuriken attack with 20% damage at a random enemy after casting a spell"

Holy Word is not a good weapon. It is an interesting weapon.
