I would like to see if I can try to make one of the currently-unimplemented-yet-confirmed cities of SL2: Hyoya.

On the side, while I have a couple solid ideas on how to build the town & what to put in it, I'd also like to know any canon details about the place that can/should be implemented. Such as:

-Is there any notable history to Hyoya?
-What's the rough population of Hyoya?
-What are the locals like?
-Are there any significant buildings/monuments already established in Hyoya?
-Anything unique about Hyoya's culture/traditions?

1) Pretty much what's in this entry should give you a good idea.

2) The population is probably about or slightly less than Lispool.

3) See link, but varied.

4) The Frozen Monastery (where the Verglas and Hyoyain are trained), bandits frozen in ice. Maybe some old mines. Other than that, not really.

5) Ice skating is a popular past-time in Hyoya. There's a large lake near it called The Kraken's Tear, which is frozen solid, and gets used for recreation as well as training for the Verglas and Hyoyains. They also hunt a lot, as you might expect, given the climate. Hunting while ice skating makes you a man, if it doesn't kill you.
